*NEW* Multinational Fintech Company (San Mateo, CA; Kansas City, MO; or New York, NY)
Practice Area: Commercial Contracts / Payments
Commitment: Full-time, on-site in the company’s San Mateo office. The client will also consider candidates who are available to work in the company’s New York or Kansas City (MO) offices and who could travel twice monthly to San Mateo

A multinational fintech company is looking for mid-level commercial counsel to provide leave coverage for six months. The attorney will work with the company’s in-house team on a multitude of commercial contracts, including vendor, merchant, acquirer, marketing and non-disclosure agreements. The attorney should have 6+ years' experience. Payments/fintech experience is required. International and regulatory experience is also strongly preferred. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not required. The attorney must be able to work full-time, on-site in the company’s San Mateo office, however the client will also consider candidates who are available to work in the company’s New York or Kansas City offices and who could travel twice monthly to San Mateo. The attorney must be able to work flexible hours when necessary

Practice Area: Advertising & Vendor Contracts
Commitment: ~ 20 hours per week. Attorneys can work remotely for this placement

Interested attorneys must provide their hourly rates for (1) ad-hoc work (i.e. no guaranteed number of hours) and (2) for a guaranteed 20 hours of work per week.

The General Counsel of a mobile ad-tech company is looking for approximately 20-hours per week of remote support on advertising and other vendor contracts for a minimum of 10 weeks and possibly longer. A business-forward mindset is required, and familiarity with advertising deals is strongly preferred. Interested attorneys must provide their hourly rates for ad-hoc work (i.e. no guaranteed number of hours) and for a guaranteed 20 hours of work per week, as well as a brief summary of their relevant advertising contracts experience.

A Bay Area-based multinational technology company is looking for a paralegal to cover a parental leave from July 2019-February 2020. Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the company's corporate compliance practice for subsidiaries in the U.S., including the coordination of and preparation for subsidiaries' board meetings, compliance with applicable laws, maintenance of corporate records, compliance with corporate governance policies and support for mergers and acquisitions corporate integrations. The ideal candidate is available to work full-time in the company's San Francisco office but excellent remote candidates will be considered

The client expects this project will be ad-hoc advisory work. The work can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

A media company is looking for a lawyer with 10+ years' experience who is licensed in New York with experience in employment & labor for an 8-week engagement starting as soon as possible. The work will involve drafting and negotiating executive agreements, offer letters, and executive compensation plans and arrangements; assisting with the company’s employment compliance function, in particular wage & hour/independent contractor, multistate HR compliance, employee privacy; daily employment consulting, including restructuring/reorganization and reductions in force, performance management and ADA/FMA. Candidates must be able to work full-time. The work will be performed on-site for 5 days per week at the company's Manhattan office. Candidates with in-house experience are preferred for this engagement. There is a possibility for this engagement to be extended.

A boutique law firm in Soho, NYC is looking for a lawyer with experience in technology, data privacy & cybersecurity; commercial contracts; and litigation, arbitration & disputes for a 4 month engagement starting July 1, 2019. The work will involve privacy policies and terms of use, research and advice on compliance issues, early dispute resolution, commercial contract review, employee separation agreements and other HR matters. Candidates must be able to work part-time for 30 hours per week. Candidates with in-house experience are preferred for this engagement. Candidates can work on-site or remote for this engagement with the work beginning in early July.
